Last year in this post I included a link to my group number signs inspired by Sara.
These were truly one of the. best. additions to my classroom last year. I absolutely loved them! The only thing I didn’t like about them, was I hadn’t made enough! I often like to have smaller groups or pairs, and often wished I had signs for more than 10 groups.
SO I decided to make signs up to Group 17. You can download the file here if you’re interested in using them in your own classroom.
NICE GRETA! Thank you. I had the exact same problem and the exact same favorite as you last year. The signs really are wonderful. @lydiakirkman helped me with mine, inspired by Sara.

They’re so great! I truly was surprised by how much I appreciated having them and how such a small thing made a big difference in my classroom. I didn’t have to say, “1’s you’re here. 2’s you’re here…” and after have a student ask, “Where did you say the 5’s were?” And I had no clue.

When I number students off for groups, they go to the corresponding sign. Students are able to more quickly get to their groups and there’s less confusion about where they go and remembering where I told their group number to meet.
